A familiar name proves little
A caller may know a name or use a recognisable provider logo. Neither establishes that the request is genuine. Do not act on urgency alone, particularly if the caller says a migration or refund requires an immediate code or payment.
Verify through a separate route
End the interaction and use the official provider account or contact details obtained independently. Do not rely on a return number or link supplied by the unexpected caller. Ask the provider whether the claimed offer or account event exists.
Protect access
Never share a login code or allow remote control of the phone for an unsolicited upgrade. A code that looks like a routine confirmation can authorise a sensitive account action. Keep evidence of the message without continuing the conversation.
If something has changed
Unexpected loss of service together with security messages deserves prompt attention through the provider’s official security channel. Contact affected financial services directly if their accounts may be exposed. We cannot authenticate a caller, restore a SIM or recover funds.

Confirm the current detail with the official provider. Links are references, not partnerships.
